As a Team We Can Make a Difference
Our Admin team are the first point of contact for clients and community members. They handle the calls, schedule appointments and make referrals for clients. They also offer useful information about the Health Centre and programs and services we offer.
Our Primary Care Providers include Family Physicians and Nurse Practitioners (NP). A NP is a Registered Nurse with advanced university education and experience in Primary Care. Both Family Physicians and NPs have expert knowledge of a wide range of common health problems in all age groups. They see clients with chronic diseases, emotional difficulties, acute disorders and complex health conditions. Primary Care Providers provide a complete spectrum from the beginning of life to the end of life. Our Primary Care Providers work together with the primary care team members.
Our Nurses include Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses. Nurses work with clients from beginning of life to end of life to promote health and wellbeing and to provide information and education about their health and wellness concerns. Nurses work with the team to help monitor the client’s condition and response to treatments and medications. Our nurses have a wide variety of knowledge and skills to support our clients.
Our Registered Dietitians are the most trusted source of information on food and nutrition and believe in health promotion and disease prevention. We offer individual appointments and group programs, with our dietitian. Our registered dietitians educate and support clients in helping them make informed decisions about their nutrition and lifestyle choices. They are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to food and nutrition and how to use food to prevent disease.
