History
The Founding Board of Directors of the North Lanark County Community Health Centre
The first office of the North Lanark Community Health Centre had humble beginnings.
The ground breaking of the Community Health Centre involved lots of rocks and cement trucks.
The building of the Community Health Centre involved the removal of tons and tons of Lanark County rock.

A tree planting ceremony commemorated the opening of the Community Health Centre.
“Moo-ve” Your Bones parade launched our physical activity and walking group programs.
During the ice storm, the North Lanark Community Health Centre served as an emergency shelter
The Health Centre’s youth program was instrumental in the creation of the Lanark Highlands Youth Centre.
The youth in the Health Centre’s youth program designed a mural to express their wishes for youth events and activities.
A ribbon cutting ceremony marked the expansion of the Health Centre’s primary care wing. The community raised most of the funding for the expansion.
