Boots is a very funny horse. He has the most amazing lips. He is very very ‘mouthy’ and feels everything with his big lips. He is seriously food driven and KNOWS when there are treats in your pockets. Boots is a Canadian Newfoundland pony mix –which are on the endangered species list– but we take very good care of him.

Boots has special medical needs now. He has Equine Metabolic Disease and so requires a daily pill to manage his blood sugar. This disease can really affect the quality of his life and we have to be super-vigilant with his foot care. He is very gentle and extremely popular with the riders and volunteers alike.
