ConnectWell Community Health has received funding through the Canada Summer Jobs programs and is seeking a summer student for our Lanark clinic, 35 hrs per week for 8 weeks.
Position Summary: The Medical Office Assistant provides a broad range of clerical/administrative support to all components of ConnectWell Community Health. Students with experience or interest in administration or students pursuing studies in Health Care or related fields will find this position offers valuable work experience for future career opportunities. This position is in the village of Lanark, situated in Lanark County.
Qualifications:
• Either interested in or working towards post-secondary education in health care or related fields
• Familiar with Microsoft software (outlook, excel, & word)
• High level of organization
• Must be between the ages of 15 to 30
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication
Reporting Relationship: The successful candidate will report to the Primary Care Manager
