Chiropody is a foot health clinic available for all current clients of ConnectWell Community Health Centre – Lanark site

Are you having problems with your feet?

We have a chiropody clinic to help our clients that need specialized foot care.

What is chiropody?

Chiropody is the study, management and prevention of disease and disorders of the foot. In other words, if you are having problems with your feet, or you have a disease that may lead to problems with your feet (like diabetes, for example), then this clinic is for you.

Registered clients of ConnectWell Community Health Centre – Lanark site who need specialized foot care can be referred to our chiropodist by their physician or nurse practitioner.

Here are a few of the ways our chiropodist can help you:

• diabetic foot care,
• diabetic foot screening,
• treatment of nail and skin disorders of the foot,
• biomechanical and gait analysis,
• production of custom made foot orthotics,
• treatment of ingrown nails,
• wound care and general treatment of soft tissue injuries of the foot.

Who is eligible? How do I get help?

Registered clients of ConnectWell Community Health Centre- Lanark Site can be referred to our chiropodist by their physician or nurse practitioner.
