Syrus is the Chairman of the board. He is the oldest, biggest and strongest horse in the herd. A senior citizen now, he has mellowed out quite a bit – but still commands the respect of his boyz. Syrus has been with the Therapeutic riding program for 14 years.

By rough estimation Syrus has provided over 3500 rides to our special people. He has literally spent his entire life in the service of others. No wonder he is by far the best loved and most desired horse in the program. Syrus will be taking a well-deserved rest in 2025.
