Connections: Good Food for Healthy Baby

This program supports women and their partners during pregnancy and up to 6 months after the baby is born.

With funding by the Public Health Agency of Canada, this program helps pregnant women learn how to have a healthy pregnancy, increase habits that support healthy birthweight and provides advice on parenting during the newborn stage.

The Good Food for A Healthy Baby program is offered to individuals and families at no cost who live in the counites of Lanark, Leeds and Grenville. Women and partners are encouraged to attend weekly groups to learn about healthy pregnancy, parenting, early days with a newborn, and healthy eating. Participants will also receive free vitamin supplements and a food voucher to support healthy nutrition while pregnant. This program partners with local health care professionals.
