Connections programs offer parenting groups either as a weekly playgroup or as specialized topic focused groups in the counties of Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville, to families with children up to age 6 years of age.
Through the weekly Parent and Child Playgroups that run out of Carleton Place, Smiths Falls and Perth, parents have an opportunity to meet with other parents, share experiences, develop new friendship participate in parent education sessions that help to build new parenting skills and boost confidence in parenting. Children have an opportunity to learn pre-school and socialization skills, through play-based activities.
We also offer additional groups throughout the year that support women who are or have lived with interpersonal violence and parenting children 0-6 years of age.
